Are your clouds of opportunities passing

This afternoon tea of choice is Green Mao Jain, medium green with a long finish. Second infusion preferred, mellowed the finish.  Morning was blah, bustling afternoon with good loose leaf sales. Recommended an herbal chai of rooibos, customer loved the nose.  Sales and marketing folks anxious to get me to join another local chamber to get networking opportunities and free advertisement, offered to cut my joining fee in half, I am very small, but unique.  Nearest pure tea shop 50 miles away.

Inspiration of the day, watching the incandescent white puffy clouds roll past the backdrop of Cedar Point with its trees beginning to show the colors of fall. Opportunities are like passing clouds, get in front of them and continue to move forward or stay still and watch them pass you by.  The same cloud and the same opportunity never passes again. Seize the moment and press on in spite of nay Sayers.

Afternoon with Tea with Wheatley

Good days, bad days...

Yesterday was my second busiest day since opening. Note to self, plant seeds of marketing and develop new business relationships on days that are blah(code name slow). My motivation and passion to succeed at the tea business must continue to ignite interest and attention to the masses who are unaware.  Give away samples and ask guests what are there favorites.  Working on a Chocolate Macaroon and ordered Jasmine tea and Mango bubble tea just a few insights from talking with guests.

Spend money with others in your vicinity and they will do likewise.  Instead of following a trend, i.e. today is National Coffee day, create your own trend and market niche.  Allow others to piggy back market with you and they will do likewise.  Check your balance sheet daily and know where you stand, better to kneel before a fall, prayer will lift you up.  Amazing, just as I finished the last statement, got a call to do an interview next week.

You market yourself and your business every day, watch how you interact and intentionally insight positive body language as well as conversations.  Won't you come and have tea? If not with me with your local tea venue, you'd be amazed at what conversationalist most tea fanatics are.  Finally, slow days, get organized it is paramount to being successful.

This afternoon, I had Golden Tip Pu-erh while my guests had White Ginger Orange Peach, with a hint of Rooibios. The pleasantness of taking tea is not only the tea itself but the conversation.  We often meander through life forgetting the social impact of uplifting relevant conversation of life experiences past and present.  The day started out blah, rainy and cold, but the afternoon brought about a warm and sunny feel and great tea and conversation.
